Learn about stormwater management planning and how it is helping communities manage nonpoint source pollution and improve the quality of their water resources. Topics will include:

  • Understanding the Regulatory Framework
  • Developing Stormwater Plans
  • Addressing Legal and Financial Challenges

Hear from & network with speakers representing the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, local municipal governments, nonprofits, and other stormwater experts.

See existing or in-progress stormwater management projects by participating in one of two field trips:

  • Dauphin County Conservation District Stormwater Best Management Practices demonstration site
  • Paxton Creek Watershed problem areas and restoration sites

Cost: $25 per participant
Includes:

  • Workshop materials
  • Morning continental treats, lunch and snack breaks
  • Transportation to and from field trips
